Items Needed for Mali Trip – January 2008

 

The dec Global Outreach Team is seeking the following items.

Donations can be placed in the purple skirted basket in the upstairs hallway.

**Please Note:  Medications should have an expiration date of Feb 2008 or beyond.

Updated 11/13/2007 - urgent needs :

Pediadtric (Children's) Motrin (or Ibuprofen) is in especially high demand because of the high fevers and severe headaches associated with Malaria.

The other items that are especially needed right now are:   Preparation H ointment, Bacitracin ointment, water bottles, head scarves and small bars of soap.

 

Medications:

Tylenol - liquid for pedi patients
Motrin - liquid and pills
Eye refresh
Scabies/Kwell/Lice treatments
Bacitracin or antibiotic ointment
Cough and Cold remedies - Benadryl liquid and pills
Antacid chewable
Preparation H ointment

 

Other:

Trowels for cement work
Torpedo levels - small light weight $2.00 style
Sunglasses
Tack-type pins of NH, USA, or Christian style
Reading glasses from the dollar store
Zip lock baggies - all sizes
Small puzzles
Pens/Pencils/small pads of paper
Tennis balls
Small bars of soap
Colorful head scarves
