Disabilities Ministry

Our Mission...

The Disability Ministry exists to support dec's mission to be a Christ-centered church that cares for all people, including those with visible and invisible disabilities.

Our primary concern is to ensure that people with disabilities have the opportunity to see their true value in Christ. We acknowledge that disabilities effect the entire family unit and want to show God's love through concrete, supportive actions.

We seek to provide a barrier free place to worship, whether those be physical or emotional barriers. We are a church that grows together and the team will provide educational opportunities to combat any "us" and "them" divisions.

Because we are a church that serves together and we believe that our unique gifts make the body strong (1Corinthians 12:12-31), we will assist people with disabilities in finding a place to serve.
